In the news, President Bush today announced that he has put forth a presidential stimulus package to help all Americans. The president stated that in his package people will be allowed to use their computer to print money, just like the government, to pay their bills. Of course the money will have to be repaid by their grandchildren and probably their great grand children.
In other news, turkeys from around the country will be converging on Washington, the turkey capitol of the world, for it annual Thanksgiving day convention to vote for a new leader. This year there could be a had fought battle between the incumbent Tom j Turkey and the hopeful Ima Gobbler.
During a debate Tom was asked what the J in his name stands for to which he replied juicy of course. My father was juicy and his father was juicy. I come from a long line of juicy birds.Ima blames Tom's great great grandfather for the reason that the turkey lost in it's bid to become the countries national bird.Acording to history Tom,Tom's great great grand father was caught releaving himself on the white house lawn leaving a brown spot that can still be seen today behind the bushes near the front door. Tom states that acording to the story handed down over the years his great great grandfather had a little too much to drink and it was a long ride home so he just ducked behind the closest bush when a withe house guard spotted his tail feathers. Had he known the the consequences he would have held it till he arived home but said that he had seen the pesident leaving the bush just before he got there so he didn't think anything of it.
The election will take place on Thanksgiving day right after dinner.s

Okay you red-blooded Americans... let's see how you do on this test:

Very interesting questions. How well would you do if you took the citizenship
test. Try this out - educational and fun. 24 out of 30 is considered a passing
grade. Supposedly 96% of all High School seniors FAILED this test...AND if
that's not bad enough, 50+% of all individuals over 50 did too!!, and we WONDER
why America is in the shape she's in?

Go to the link below. Take the test and be surprised at what we don't know.

HAPPY VETERANS DAY

Veterans Day is Tuesday and there will be ceremonies, parades and speeches and the president will undoubtedly lay a wreath at the tumb of the unknown soldier. The day will also bring back memories of the past when we were young and called to serve. Good memories of friend and the crazy times we had that only a veteran would believe, like my 3 months at Subic Bay. Other memories will return and these are the memories that should be passed on to our younger generation. They should know that war is not like it is portrait in the movies where you feel no pain, no fear, and the good guy always wins. They should know the truth, PEOPLE DIE. The biggest lesson we can pass on is that reason to go to war is not always what our president tells them and they should ask questions before volunteering to fight in any war. They should know that in war you are just a number and are expendable to be used and sacrificed to complete a mission and that most hero's had to die to earn the title and will be forgotten, except by their family and friends, in no time. For example SGT Paul Ray Smith. Does the name ring a bell. He was killed at Bagdad airport while manning a machine gun to save his men. He was awarded the medal of honor which his son accepted for him.George's first hero of the Iraq war.
So happy veterans day to all who served. Remember the good time and the bad and pass them on to our future veterans.

IN THE NEWS.

IN THE NEWS, President Bush announced today that he will auction off his art collection and the proceeds will go to help disabled Iraqi war veterans.. The president spokes person stated that few people know that the president was an avid painter. He used painting to take his mind off the war in Iraq when he couldn't sleep at night. The spokesperson stated that the auction will take place on November 11th, Veterans Day and his whole collection of paint by numbers paintings will be sold.
IN OTHER NEWS, John MC Cain at a meeting with the Republican leadership was over heard say, Boy that was a close one, I all most won. I thought picking Palan would have blown my chance for sure. Thank god I lost so the democrats can straighten out the mess George has gotten us into.
